Star Trek: Beyond movie review.

The third film in the franchise. At this time, the post of director was given to Justin Lin who is famous by Fast and Furious movies. This immediately suggests that the film will have a great action, but will it remain whether the spirit of Star Trek or the tone, which was established in two previous Abrams movies?

Just from the beginning the movie feels great. A certain tone that Lin set to start goes to a well-established picture of what does the five-year mission mean for the team . And this part of the movie I incredibly like.

It raises many questions in the course of what is happening with the team, a lot of philosophical issues, for example, Kirk thought about his father. Then the team will stop at Yorktown, outer city, where they can relax and subsequently explore the the space again.

In these moments it is interesting to watch interactions between the characters, they remain the same, but have become more tired and common, so now they have acquired pattern of everyday life. One can see that the team misses a big action. But all that I love about Star Trek is still in this movie: the humor, the interaction between the characters, characters themselves, tone and atmosphere. 

Quiet and good-natured atmospheres replaced by an ambush of some strange aliens and complete destruction of Enterprise, so that the most part of the crew was taken prisoners, and the other main characters, led by the captain should take all necessary in order to escape from this situation.

Action is brilliantly done, with a feeling of great battles scenes. Aliens look intimidating, this part of the movie is very strong in its execution. Thus, from the three-year routine Captain Kirk suddenly faced with this real threat. So they were not ready for such a powerful attack, but could not win because of the lack of protection against such things.

The events begin to take place quickly, but meaningful. The time is properly given to each character, and there is no feeling of imbalance. Very pleased with the presence of the excellent atmosphere of previous films. Many new and interesting characters, the presence of deep meaning in some areas. This and much more make this film quality and fun.
